Our staff of archivists
will inventory and process your collections to international, national or
institutional standards. All materials (boxes, folders, sleeves, etc.) used
for housing collections meet archival standards, according to individual
budgets. Recommendations for archival storage materials, storage conditions
and preservation needs can be provided. We will maintain the original structure of
collections or create order from disorganized collections, using your
organizational structure as a guideline, or work with you to develop
guidelines for processing. If you have an established records management
procedure, we will comply with those standards. Processing is available at
collection, series or item level. Subject categorization and
finding aids can be developed to meet your needs. Detailed indexing at clip
or tape level is available for motion collections, including keywords,
controlled vocabularies or other metadata. Our staff has a wide range
of subject knowledge, in fields such as popular culture, entertainment, botany, business, geography,
medicine, natural science and zoology. We
have years of experience working with manuscript, photographic and motion
collections.
